Kate Montgomery has enjoyed being involved in MOPS for over a year. Growing up in Indiana, PA, Kate now resides in Export with her husband of three years, Brett, their toddler, William, with another baby expected in October. Kate is a chiropractor with her own private practice in Export. Her undergraduate prerequisites in biology are from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (Indiana, PA) and her Doctorate of Chiropractic is from New York Chiropractic College ( Seneca Falls, NY). As a member of Newlongsburg Presbyterian Church, Kate is especially honored to be a founding member of this MOPS group. In addition to spending quality time with her son and husband, Kate enjoys walking, photography, watching movies and reading, eating chocolate covered ants and burping very loud!

Anna F. has been married for 10 years and has 3 children who are the joys of her life. She is actively involved in Crossroads Church in Delmont and is excited to help bring a MOPS group to the community. When she finds some free time, Anna enjoys painting, reading, being silly with her kids and hanging out with other moms.
Discussion Group Team Leader
Melanie K. loves being a stay-at-home mom with her two daughters. She's been married 6 years and lives in Manor Borough, PA. She is an active member at Monroeville Assembly of God and loves doing women's bible studies and spending time with her family.
MOPS Mentor
Nancy D. is a member of the MOPS Steering committee and very active in the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church. Nancy is a graduate of Slippery Rock University and taught in the Gateway School District before starting a family. Her second career and most rewarding was a stay at home mom for 17 years. For the last 20 years, Nancy alias Miss Nancy, has been working with children ages 3 through 6 at the CCAC Boyce Campus Child Development Center where she is presently the director. Nancy and her husband John reside in Murrysville and have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. (The light of my life.) Her responsibility at MOPS is finding mature Christian moms to serve as mentors.
MOPS Mentor/General Leader
Rev. Marnie Silbert is Associate Pastor of the Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church where she has served for 26 years. She is the parent of 2 college aged daughters. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with Bachelor degrees in Botany and History and has a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Her ministry has included Christian Education and Youth and she has special training in pastoral care, and family systems. She has directed “Moms & Tots camp” at Pine Springs Camp, worked with special needs families, taught all ages, led a single parent family group and mom’s Bible study and regularly spend “children’s sermon time” with pre-schoolers. Her hobbies include sewing, gardening, and reading.
Finance Team Leader
Christy M. is a graduate of Grove City College and has been married to her husband, Tim, for five years. She is a mom of three and feels privileged to be able to stay home with and enjoy her two living daughters. Christy is active in her church, Crossroads Church, in Delmont, and spends many weekends accompanying her husband to dog agility shows where he competes with their two shelties.
Hospitality Team Leader
Holly B. has lived in the Murrysville area for 4 years. She is happily married to her husband Brian and together they have a beautiful daughter, Cecilia, born 9/29/07. Holly currently works part-time as a producer at WPXI-TV. She is an active member of Mother of Sorrow Church in Murrysville and is thrilled to be part of this MOPS group. She enjoys spending time with her family, walking, and shopping!
Creative Activities Team Leader
Karen K is originally from Jennerstown Pennsylvania but moved to the Pittsburgh area to attend Pitt Pharmacy School in 1996. During her years at Pitt she met her husband Mark who is also a pharmacist. They were married in October 2001 and currently reside in Murrysville. Both Karen and Mark are employed by Medco, a mail service pharmacy in North Versailles. On May 16, 2008 they were blessed with a son, Ryan Christopher, who is the joy of their lives. Mark and Karen attend Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Export, where they have been members since 2003. Karen’s hobbies include running/exercise, time with family and friends, and of course, MOPS.
